What equipment do I need?

A computer, phone or tablet with good internet connection is ideal. We can talk on a call or via video (easiest for helping to visualise the space). If using video, you will not have to download anything, but of you have the Zoom app, this may make it easier to connect.

How should I prepare for a visit?

You don’t have to do anything to prepare. In fact, it’s sometimes better if you don’t, because that will only add to the pressure of getting organised - and that’s what I’m here for!

What if I’m embarrassed by my home or business?

Firstly, please know that you are not alone. Almost everyone has suffered from feeling overwhelmed at some point, and almost everyone had support to get out of that mode. There is absolutely no judgment here and the thought of tidying a messy space is actually enjoyable to me! It’s why I do what I do. Let me reassure you in the initial consultation and let’s get you feeling proud of your space again!

Is this service private and confidential?

This service is completely confidential. There will never be any advertising on vehicles or products used.

We may ask to take some before and after pictures for case studies which would still be completely anonymous and carefully chosen, but that would be completely up to you.

How long does it take?

This is really dependent on how much there is to do, your time and budget. If you are having financial issues and believe the burden of feeling disorganised is affecting you, please message to see best how I can help you in a more cost-effective way.

If you have ongoing work, such as within your business, we can have weekly check ins, or continuously work together. 

How much effort is required from me?

As much or as little as you like. I am happy to do your organising for you to save you the time, but we will need to discuss the best option for you within the initial consultation.

For example, kitchen organisation is likely to be less sentimental than sorting bedrooms. Business organisation is likely to contain processes that need to be understood.

What will the coach need to know?

I will need to know what you are trying to achieve and the way you work when it comes to organisation, in order to best advise how to continue to keep organised.

What is it like having a coach?

All coaches work differently. With me, it’ll be like having a friend round to help you out. We can stop for tea and chats to keep you motivated, work through any troubles you have with parting with your things, or we can go at a fast pace and have an intense sorting session. Whatever works best for you and makes you feel comfortable.

Is cleaning included?

A full clean is not included in the service, however, with physical organising things like surfaces will be wiped before products are placed on them. We can also advise on cleaning companies in the local area.

Where necessary, such as in hoarding situations, we will advise working with a cleaning company to complete the job to a high standard.

 

I like my things and don’t want them all to be thrown out - is this the right service for me?

We will work closely together to ensure that you are happy with any choices made. Organising does not only mean getting rid of things, but is also about implementing organised systems in order to feel less overwhelmed while keeping the things you have.
